Dr. Dennis Short

Dr. Short earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he found his calling at the intersection of human anatomy, neurology and natural healing. After graduation, he moved to South America to treat the indigenous people in the highlands of Peru before eventually moving back to the United States and opening a chiropractic practice with his wife in Danville, Ky. After 20 years of practice, they now own, manage and lead Bluegrass Chiro, which is the largest chiropractic organization in Kentucky with 13 locations. In his book, The Ultimate Chiropractic Practice, Dr. Short builds upon his decades of experience by offering practical tips for running a successful chiropractic office, advice about how to effectively manage patients, and suggestions for how to become a better leader. As Associate Vice President of Chiropractic Education at Campbellsville University, Dr. Short has been instrumental in building and shaping a new model for chiropractic education. He looks forward to sharing his passions for healing patients and running a successful business with future leaders in the chiropractic profession.
